Introductory/ Beginner Ballet: For students who have minimal ballet experience. The pace is slow and the exercises are more simplistic with an emphasis on barre work, body placement and ballet terminology.
Beginner/Intermediate Ballet: This class has complete barre and center work moving at a quicker pace with more complex exercises. Students in this class possess a well-developed ballet vocabulary.
Intermediate/Advanced Ballet: This class is faster paced and the exercises are complex and challenging. These classes are good for someone who has considerable ballet experience. As a mixed class, it is important to note that some teachers' pace may be more intermediate while others may be more advanced.
Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT): For students who want to build strength and stamina. This class helps to understand weight-placement, core control, and how to break down movement and unfold the layers to understand what muscles assist each movement.
Theatre Jazz: For students to understand musicality and technique at a performance caliber. This class digs deep to ground oneself in the roots of jazz, utilizing the whole body to tell a story in a safe and encouraging environment.
Tap: For students to learn the fundamentals of tap, technical basic steps, and how to progress them with speed. While also using the elements of musicality and body percussion to dance different styles.
Horton: For students interested in modern dance. This class is a form of modern dance, developed by Lester Horton, that uses flat backs and lateral stretches, tilt lines, and lunges, along with incorporating lyrical and circular movements focusing on stretching in opposite directions. It is an anatomical approach to creating a well-rounded healthy dancer.
Flex & Flow: For students looking to stretch and strengthen. This class is a mix of yoga and mat pilates to help stretch and strengthen muscles.
